Imarhan reimagines *Assouf*—desert blues—by blending ancestral traditions and African influences with pop and rock. It is a vibrant sound that bridges the desert, the city, and modernity.
This band of five musician friends celebrates the everyday lives of the new generation, spanning the vastness of the desert and urban life. Their sound draws on diverse influences—ancestral Tuareg roots, sub-Saharan African rhythms, and pop-rock styles from Algeria and the West—fusing them into a rare symbiosis.
