The 30th edition of the Villes des Musiques du Monde festival is bringing Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis to life! A vibrant mix of cultures, festivities, songs, and dance floors—and tonight, we’re heading to the Colombian Caribbean with El León Pardo y los Gaiteros de Punta Icaco!
Led by El León—a composer, trumpeter, and gaita player from Cartagena—four artists bring the sounds of gaitas, maracas, and drums to life in a whirlwind of blended rhythms. Balancing musical heritage with festive energy, their vibrant, spirited music creates an irresistible urge to move and sets the listener on a journey.
