The 30th edition of the Villes des Musiques du Monde festival is bringing Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis to life! Cultures, festivities, songs, and dance floors are coming alive—featuring, today, the meeting of two voices from the Franco-Algerian music scene!
Rooted in a world that blends French chanson with Algerian traditions, Nassim Dendane (Dendana) skillfully continues his exploration of the bridges between cultures. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Villes des Musiques du Monde festival, he invites Amazigh Kateb—the iconic frontman of Gnawa Diffusion and a pioneer of socially conscious musical fusion—to join him. Together, they bring their respective backgrounds, generations, and sensibilities into dialogue during a concert where poetry, social consciousness, and a spirit of sharing lie at the heart of the encounter.
