Description
Throughout June, Aubervilliers will move to the rhythm of dance with Alors on danse!, a festival dedicated to amateur practices and contemporary choreography.
For three weeks, dance takes over the entire city: public squares, parks, libraries, schools, theaters, and other community spaces host more than forty events open to everyone.
This festive and welcoming program offers a wide variety of events—shows, performances, participatory workshops, introductory sessions, public dances, and artistic gatherings—designed to bring all audiences together.
Festival highlights:
- Saturday, June 13: A big day of festivities at Aimé Césaire. From the metro to the park, residents and visitors are invited to share a moment of conviviality and artistic expression. Featuring the Waide Cie (Festival Un neuf trois Soleil!), a tai chi introduction open to all, Compagnie Abel, traditional dance associations, Sauf le dimanche, and Compagnie Ayoba.
- Sunday, June 21: an exceptional finale for the Fête de la Musique
The festival will close in style on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique, with an afternoon of open-air performances in Stalingrad Park bringing together several companies and guest artists.
