Description
Posters, slogans, films... Over the course of a century, health prevention and education have gradually adopted the conventions of communication and advertising. The exhibition showcases the archives of the French Committee for Health Education.
Designed for a general audience, the exhibition "A votre santé!" ("To Your Health!") traces the history of health education in France during the 20th century, covering its key themes and administrative organization.
Beyond providing historical context, the exhibition defines what constitutes a campaign and examines the evolution of health communication over the decades—leading up to the involvement of advertising professionals in the health sector. What makes for "good" communication? What are the objectives of a health prevention campaign? Who are the key players, and how can the implementation of these public policies be evaluated?
