Description
This summer, the Olympic Aquatics Centre in Saint-Denis will be buzzing with the excitement of Europe’s top swimmers. From 31 July to 16 August 2026, it will host the European Swimming Championships, which are returning to France for the first time since 1987 !
Organised jointly by the French Swimming Federation (FFN) and European Aquatics, with the support of the French Government, the Greater Paris Metropolitan Area, the Île-de-France Region, the department of Seine-Saint-Denis, Plaine Commune and the City of Saint-Denis, these championships form part of the direct legacy of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
A top-level programme at the Olympic Aquatics Centre
Built to host the artistic swimming, diving and water polo events during the 2024 Games, the Olympic Aquatics Centre will be reconfigured to suit major international competitions, hosting three Olympic disciplines:
- Artistic swimming : 31 July to 5 August 2026
- Diving : 31 July to 6 August 2026
- Swimming : 10 to 16 August 2026
