Blending contemporary dance with the ancestral movements of the Berber *ahidous*, this vibrant choreographic work brings together twelve performers and a musician!

Conceived by choreographer Filipe Lourenço, this dance piece explores the transmission of—and dialogue between—the choreographic traditions of the Maghreb and contemporary dance. Featuring a troupe of twelve dancers and a live musician—whose performance carries distinct Arab-Andalusian influences—the work celebrates collective energy, musicality, and the enduring power of ancestral gestures, bringing them to life within the bodies of today’s dancers. >>> Duration: approximately 1 hour. >>> For ages 13 and up.
