The artists of the CMMD will have the privilege of exploring the richness of Spain through works by Manuel de Falla, whose depth and colour immerse us in the soul of Andalusia; Enrique Granados, master of the romance and pianistic virtuosity; Joaquín Turina, who captured the essence of Spanish folklore; the inimitable Pablo de Sarasate, whose fiery style has enchanted the world; and the impressive Isaac Albéniz, a true painter of sound depicting the landscapes and traditions of Spain. A tribute will also be paid to the great Alicia de Larrocha, whose interpretations have left an indelible mark on the history of this music.
