The city of Stains and the Association of Garden Cities of Île-de-France invite you to a discovery tour of the Stains garden city followed by the "Fairy Gardens" concert designed by conductor Zahia Ziouani at the Espace Paul Éluard!
The town of Stains reveals its rich cultural and heritage heritage through an evening dedicated to nature and artistic creation.
Starting at 6:00 PM, the exploration begins in the remarkable Stains Garden City district. Conceived as a verdant oasis in the heart of the town, this emblematic example of early 20th-century urban planning embodies a harmonious vision of community living, where gardens and homes interact seamlessly. The tour unveils the history, architecture, and landscape perspectives of this unique place, inviting visitors to appreciate a heritage where nature structures the space and shapes lifestyles.
Following this stroll, the evening continues with music from the Divertimento Orchestra, conducted by its founding conductor, Zahia Ziouani. The concert, "Enchanted Gardens," resonates with the very spirit of the garden city: here too, nature becomes a source of inspiration and artistic material.
Sky, Sea, and Earth structure this musical and choreographic journey, performed by some twenty musicians and four dancers. Each element composes a living tableau where orchestral and dance movements respond to one another, from figurative art to impressionism, from fairy tales to fantasy. After traversing an urban landscape conceived as a garden, the audience is invited to explore soundscapes and imaginary landscapes, thus extending, in a new way, the sensory experience of nature.
>> Reservations are available for the 8 pm concert only at the Espace Paul Éluard in Stains.
