The Saint-Denis Cathedral Basilica has the honor of hosting Vincent Warnier, a unique figure on the contemporary music scene, for an exceptional organ concert!
Concert organist, teacher, and titular organist of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont in Paris, Vincent Warnier is one of France's most prominent musicians. Trained at the Strasbourg Conservatory and then at the Paris Conservatory (CNSMD) under renowned organists, he earned several first prizes. Winner of the Grand Prize for Interpretation at the Chartres International Organ Competition in 1992, he has since enjoyed a concert career worldwide. His recordings, acclaimed by critics and awarded, among other accolades, a Diapason d'Or, attest to the breadth of his repertoire. Also a celebrated teacher and professor of musicology, he has taught organ at the École Normale de Musique de Paris since 2021.
In the majestic setting of the Saint-Denis Cathedral Basilica, a jewel of Gothic art, he will bring the Cavaillé-Coll Grand Organ to life for an exceptional evening!
