As part of the Ecological Transition and Sustainable Development theme, Italian-Paraguayan filmmaker Anna Recalde Miranda's documentary profiles human rights activists and environmental defenders.
In a complex manner and through the medium of cinema, the director links her family history and the history of the 20th century in Paraguay and Latin America with the political, social, economic and environmental situation in Paraguay and Brazil today.
The film, released in France in 2025, was presented at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA).
The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director.
