MAAD 93 and Mains d’Œuvres invite you to meet the six artists who have been supported since January as part of the HIP-HOP DEV 93 programme, run by MAAD 93!
Artists to discover:
LA MANA
Sacred and profane, her shamanic pop is a ritual that fuses Latin American music, laments, and experimental reggaeton. A powerful and spiritual performer, La Mana uses her voice to open portals to the depths of the soul, the profound darkness where it feels good to be a monster.
INAYAT
Both baddie and hypersensitive, Inayat is a "Hip-Pop" singer-songwriter. She shines a light on her darker sides, from Gabon to Paris, and sounds the "Pink Alert!"
HAZE
Haze Musazi is a sensitive, intense, and rebellious artist. A rapper, singer, and poet, her creations are rooted in diverse influences. Above all, it is the human aspect of art that drives her, and her preferred medium is the stage, where she creates a genuine connection with the audience.
RYAAM
For over ten years, Ryaam has been sharing music imbued with a multicultural history, rooted in the East Parisian scene. She honed her skills by performing at numerous open mics and then on stages across France, opening for artists such as Ali, Rocé, and Médine.
Ryaam offers a rich and diverse rap sound, oscillating between boom-bap, trap, and drill, as evidenced by her EP, Rétives, released on February 9, 2024. She is currently working on a new EP.
LIROSE
Lirose, a mixed-race French-Burkinabe artist, blends sung rap, soul, hip hop, and roller dance to create a luminous and authentic style. Accompanied on stage by her sister, DJ and backing vocalist Ava, they bring a contagious and unique energy to the audience.
AGA's roots lie in Northern France, where he grew up, immersed in the culture of the textile mills and the mining region. Having settled in Montreuil a few years ago, a true artistic and cultural hub, he has found in this cosmopolitan city the ideal environment to pursue his musical exploration. With his distinctive style, impactful rhymes, and deep voice, AGA is establishing himself as a rising star on the French music scene, practicing an eclectic art that unites and moves audiences.
