The duo Hylia offers a unique journey through Irish music, which can be danced to, sung along with, and listened to with your eyes closed. It is impossible to pinpoint exactly when Hylia was formed, as Roxanne and Marie, the two sisters at its heart, have been playing together since childhood. From an early age, they developed a passion for Celtic music, inspired by concerts given by their idols at the Interceltic Festival of Lorient.
In 2021, they began composing their own songs and seized the opportunity to blend the different influences that make up their current identity: Irish music, of course, and folk, but also classical music through the rigour of their interpretation and the delicacy of their arrangements.
