The Maison du Peuple is showing the film Olivia, a tender and uplifting adventure for young audiences aged 8 and above, based on the novel by Maite Carranza, followed by monthly screenings from March to June.
The Maison du Peuple continues its film series with Olivia, a film for young audiences (aged 8 and up) that tells the story of the upheaval in the daily life of a 12-year-old girl who is forced to adopt a more modest lifestyle and look after her little brother Tim on her own. Directed with sensitivity by Irene Iborra, this story shifts from reality to fantasy when the two children meet their warm and colourful neighbours, transforming every challenge into a game and every day into a real adventure film, based on the novel ‘Olivia’ by Maite Carranza. Designed for families and children, this event offers an accessible 1 hour 11 minute screening, with a special introductory price of £4.70 for all audiences and £4 for those under 26, which will be repeated on the upcoming screening dates of 29 March, 26 April, 31 May and 28 June.
