With Chromatique, Louise Baduel and Marc Melià revisit Camille Saint-Saëns' Le Carnaval des animaux, a work composed in 1886 and subtitled Grande Fantaisie zoologique, which features a veritable musical ark populated by lions, swans and kangaroos.
The duo now offers a unique reinterpretation, in which the animal imagination becomes a driving force for invention. This rich material becomes the starting point for a multidisciplinary creation that combines dance, music, textile arts and lighting to invent an immersive experience.
