Who killed female gluttony?’ asks author Lauren Malka in her essay ‘Mangeuses’ (Eaters). To answer this crucial question, David Mus from Télé Chez Moi, Mačko Dràgàn from the Nice newspaper Mouais, and Malka herself went to meet women who talk about their own current or past eating disorders.
What connections do they make with capitalism, patriarchy, their families and their personal histories? How can we escape the often male-imposed constraints that distort our relationship with food?
