At the forefront of Cairo's electronic music scene, ZULI blends deconstructed beats, controlled chaos, and rugged textures. His new A/V show combines fragmented soundscapes with sharp visuals. An exclusive creation for Communale!
ZULI, whose real name is Ahmed El Ghazoly, is an artist and producer from Cairo. He stands out for his unique style blending hip-hop, rap and electronic music, designed for both listening and clubbing. He is particularly well known internationally for his releases on Lee Gamble's UIQ label.
Active on the Egyptian scene, he has collaborated with rapper Abyusif and co-founded the irsh label with artist Rama, contributing to the dynamism of the local electronic scene. Supported by major figures such as Aphex Twin and Richie Hawtin, ZULI also hosts a monthly show on NTS Radio, dedicated to emerging talents he has met on tour.
For his appearance at Communale's Lives Immersifs, he will present an exclusive audiovisual show in France based on his latest album, Lambda.
