With Sphaîra, two artists working at the intersection of sound, light and architecture reawaken the energy of a legendary building (Niemeyer's dome in Tripoli) through a spellbinding, slow, stroboscopic, almost meditative performance.
Sara Persico, a Neapolitan sound artist based in Berlin, and Mika Oki, a French-Japanese DJ and producer based in Brussels, combine their worlds in Sphaîra, an immersive audiovisual performance inspired by the album of the same name.
Created from recordings made in Niemeyer's dome in Tripoli (Lebanon), a place with exceptional acoustics and a complex past, Sphaîra offers a sensory journey combining electronic music, field recordings, light and visual abstraction.
Through slow and meditative scenography, the show blurs the lines between reality and imagination. It invites the audience to explore their perception of space, memory and consciousness, at the crossroads of architecture, sound and light.
>>> Reserved for those over 18 years of age
