The British duo Demdike Stare, formed by Sean Canty and Miles Whittaker, is known for its unclassifiable style blending dark ambient, industrial and post-rave influences. Active on the Modern Love label and founders of the DDS label, they regularly collaborate with artists such as Mica Levi and Equiknoxx.
Their latest project, the audiovisual show ‘Baselines’, transforms forgotten cultural objects into an immersive experience combining cinematic sounds and striking visuals. This show explores the beauty of imperfection in a dark and hypnotic atmosphere, blending raw textures and punk inspirations.
