Summer events in Plaine Commune

La Plage de La Courneuve is celebrating its 20th anniversary and invites you to join in the fun for a summer full of memories and new attractions. It all kicks off on Wednesday 9 July with an exceptional opening evening featuring Amel Bent, Sabrina Ouazani and concerts from the Métis festival. Until August 3, the Parc de la Liberté will come alive with swimming, open-air cinema, themed evenings, bingo, debates, a mobile library, a games library and first-aid workshops. A fireworks display will light up the night of 13 July, and there are surprises to be won every week. In Saint-Denis and Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, summer promises to be sporty, refreshing and ultra dynamic! From 7 to 25 July at the Roger-Fréville complex, then from 22 July to 24 August at the Parc de la Légion d’Honneur, there will be sporting, aquatic and cultural activities for all. Climbing, football, boxing, handisport, giant slide, wind slides, inflatable platforms… the afternoons are sure to be full of activities. Bel Été also includes neighbourhood events with workshops in the city stadiums and open-air cinema screenings, with programmes chosen by local residents. Summer is in full swing at the Stains leisure centre from 12 July to 24 August, with free and low-cost activities for all the family. From 5 July, the municipal swimming pool will be €1 for everyone, so there’s no need to hesitate! On 13 July, the season gets off to a great start with a festive inauguration at 6.30pm, followed by a fireworks display at 10.45pm. L’Été du Canal is back to keep the banks of Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis moving all summer long! Low-cost river shuttles, water parks, free workshops and cruises await you along the canals.
