A timeless evening in the heart of an exceptional monument

On Saturday 13 December, the Basilica of Saint-Denis will shine in a different light. Forget the spotlights: make way for soft candlelight, pure voices and the simple beauty of the sacred. The Sacrée Musique festival will be taking to the Basilica for a unique evening of music, performed by the Ensemble Kéryx and the Chœur Éphata.

What is the festival?

Sacrée Musique is a festival that delicately blends sacred music and heritage, offering intimate concerts in churches and historic monuments illuminated by candlelight. Each edition seeks to reveal the beauty of silence, through voices, harmonies and a powerful set of lights. In Paris and the Île-de-France region, from 10 to 14 December 2025, 16 concerts will take place in iconic churches and monuments, transformed for the occasion into settings for musical meditation. In Saint-Denis, the Basilica will join this fervent tour: hundreds of secret candles, voices in vibration, and a moment suspended between history and emotion.

An exceptional date at the Basilica of Saint-Denis

On 13 December 2025 from 8.30pm to 9.45pm, the Ensemble Kéryx and the Chœur Éphata will perform a large-scale candlelit concert in which the audience is invited to join in the collective singing.

In the majestic setting of the Gothic basilica, let yourself be carried away by the poetry of the voices, the magic of the lights and the unique atmosphere of a sacred concert.
