A lover of nature and passionate about art, Philomène Anton transforms recycled materials into unique works of art. Her exhibition reveals the richness of the past through a sensitive and committed perspective, where tradition and ecology meet.
Philomène Anton, a teacher of Sri Lankan Tamil origin, has been living in France for 33 years, including 10 in Stains. For several years, she has been sharing her art with the community through events highlighting Tamil cultural heritage, particularly during
Pongal celebrations (harvest festival).
The collection on display includes clay works, paintings, recycled objects transformed into art, creations based on natural elements, and illustrations inspired by the Tamil Kural ‘Tirukural’, the most famous of Tamil writings.
